About CT-7571 Range
With over 20 years' experience working with Corten, we introduce the world's longest-lasting and most effective protective coating for Corten and Weathering Steel.
The new water-based product for 2022, CT-7571-W offers unparalleled protection and sealing properties with the addition of alcohol protection. The new water-based formula has a lower odour compared to the old product and is ideal for use inside and in confined spaces. This model has a transparent texture that does not affect the colour of the substrate itself.
As world leaders in the process of aging and sealing of weathering steel, BROMOCO understand that in a world that needs to reduce its environmental impact and adopt sustainable manufacturing practises water-based products are becoming the new standard. We will be fully water based for 2023.

Finish shaping
The product contributes to the visual application with a crystal clear hard waring finish after it has dried. Helping users to produce a more textured and durable surface finish. The product is also suitable for lighter coloured finishes.

Resistant to Acids, Bleaches, Bird droppings and Acid rain. Built in protection against UV for both the coating and the surface. Solvent resistant and 100% waterproof.
Wide application range
Very low VOC, reducing environmental impact. Non-flammable material, suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
The various finishes are achieved in 3 ways:

Preparation of the metal. Raw, sand blasted, scrubbed or grinded.

Length of time XL-08 is left to dwell. Usually, 1 day to 10 days.

Coating depth.

The lighter finishes are achieved when the surface has been sand or shot blasted.

The more textured finishes are achieved when the surface has been roughed or grinded.

The longer the XL-08 is reactivated with a saline solution the deeper the oxidisation.

Or the longer it is left to naturally rust up to 6 months.

Thicker coating or additional coats will increase the gloss level if desired.
